The Executive Director of the U15 acts as secretary of the U15 Executive Heads and supports the governing body in all its activities, attending all Executive Heads and committee meetings and keeping records of all proceedings. The Executive Director is responsible for all notices required to members of the U15 Executive Heads and members of committees. The Executive Director also ensures the appointment of a secretary to each committee.
Suzanne Corbeil has built a stellar career in the fields of science, communication, innovation and research. Building strong relationships at all levels of government and among a variety of academic and non-profit partners, she served as Vice-President of External Relations and Communications at the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) for more than nine years. In 2009, she started her own thriving consulting firm, Corbeil Consulting, Inc., and in 2012, she took on a new role as the inaugural Executive Director of U-15 - Group of Canadian Research Universities.
