Researchers at UBC, BC Childrens Hospital, and Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) are teaming up with the Vancouver School District to better understand COVID-19 transmission in Vancouver schools.
The study, funded by Canadas COVID-19 Immunity Task Force (CITF), aims to determine how many teachers and support staff in Vancouver schools have acquired SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, by checking their blood samples for antibodies.
