Made-in-Canada COVID-19 test developed at McGill receives government support

McGill and RI-MUHC team partnering with National Research Council has obtained funding from Innovation, Science, and Economic Development Canada to develop capability to produce millions of SARS-CoV-2 tests to make Canada self-sufficient.

When a pair of old hockey buddies and McGill biomedicine scientists realized that test shortages could hamper Canada’s efforts to get COVID-19 under control, they didn’t hesitate: “We can help with that.”….
