Upon the announcement of his retirement, The U15 Group of Canadian Research Universities thanks Dr. Alain Beaudet for his years of public service and his contributions to the post-secondary and research sectors in Canada. Dr. Beaudet has been the President of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) since 2008, and has a long track record of supporting the health research community in Canada.
U15 Chair and Rector of the University of Montreal Guy Breton offered the following statement:
