Ottawa, ON (Dec 5, 2016) – The U15 Group of Canadian Research Universities warmly welcomes Minister Kirsty Duncan’s announcement today of the search process for a Chief Science Advisor.
“Today’s announcement is a welcome development that will further increase the ability of science and research to improve the lives of Canadians,” says Guy Breton, Chair of The U15 and Rector of the University of Montreal. “The Chief Science Advisor will ensure science resides at the centre of government decision-making.”
